They are protective/transfer equipment, usually cylindrical, with high compression/extension capacity,
manufactured from technical textile fabrics by sewing, ultrasonic welding or chemical bonding techniques.
While the most important issue in the material selection of piston protection bellows is the outdoor conditions and the form of the bellows, the type of fluid is the most important issue in filling(loading) bellows and air transfer bellows.
In the piston protection bellows, Aluminized fabrics are used against the risk of radiant heat and molten metal splash in the iron-steel industry, Silicon coated fabrics for dusty environment conditions such as cement industry, PTFE film laminated fabrics for acidic environment conditions such as chemistry industry etc.
Silicone coated Para-aramid fabrics are used in the inner bellows of the filling/loading bellows, while polymer coated canvas fabrics are preferred in the outer layer.
Silicone coated fabrics are generally preferred for air transfer hoses due to their high flexibility, impermeability and strength properties.
While cement filling bellows are manufactured in standard type, piston protection and air transfer bellows have different model options as follows.
Piston Bellows
• MTR 10 - Standard sector stitched type
• MTR 10 F - Zippered Standard sector stitched type
• MTR 20 R - Tube type - With wire ring
• MTR 20 FR - Zippered Tube type - With wire ring
• MTR 21 - Seamless with Wire ring
• MTR 31 - Seamless camera corner
Air Transfer Bellows
• MTR 20 Y - Tube type - Spring loaded
• MTR 20 R - Zipper Tube type - With wire ring
• MTR 21 - Seamless with Wire ring
The bellows project, which is shaped according to the data obtained as a result of the supervision made by our experts or transmitted by the end user,
is confirmed by submitting it to the end user before manufacturing, and the project is finalized by applying the necessary revisions, if any.
All raw materials to be used in production are controlled within the pre-production quality control processes and included in the production.
Quality control processes are also run between all consecutive processes such as fabric cutting and sewing in the manufacturing process, thus minimizing the defect rate in the final product.
The resulting product is checked according to the project for the last time before shipment, and all parameters are photographed and recorded.
Suitable products are stamped by the "Metrik" quality stamp and are covered by the warranty.
It is used to protect piston rods from radiant heat, molten metal and slag in industries such as
iron-steel and aluminum. Air transfer bellows are used in various fields in sectors such as food, chemistry, automotive and medicine.
